In an effort to not make every blog post I write reflective and/or tortured (this is why this blog gets updated so infrequently), I’m going to simply post whenever something I write gets published.
So here’s the news for October and (so far) November this year:
I interviewed the Indonesian artist Jumaadi for Asymptote‘s Fall 2015 issue. You can read the interview and see his arresting artwork here.
Mascara published my review of Sarah Holland-Batt’s poetry collection The Hazards. (You’ll see why I chose a photo of a jellyfish to accompany this post.)
And in response to the responses to the “shocking” censorship of the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, I wrote an opinion piece for the Sydney Review of Books.
