Festivus for the Rest of Us: aka a very special outside-the-US giveaway

Remember when I said that I was thinking about doing a giveaway via Goodreads for non-US residents? I’m going ahead with it. As someone who has spent the majority of her life living outside the US, it’s important for me that the book be as available as possible to at least some people in other parts of the world. It’s been a long-running frustration of mine – having all the cool products be available only in the US. So it gives me great pleasure to announce that I’ll be giving away 7 signed copies of The More Known World to interested readers in Singapore, Australia, and the UK.

You can enter the giveaway here. It runs from now until January 7th, 2018. I’ve learned more about how Goodreads giveaways work in the meantime: it actually works like a lottery. It doesn’t matter if you sign up first or last – the entries are all put into a big pool and then the winners are chosen by the Goodreads staff at random (supposedly). I’ll be using pink or green pen to sign them if that’s any added incentive at all!

I’m also thinking of doing a giveaway for signed copies of the audiobook version of The More Known World, and perhaps The Oddfits as well. I’m not sure how many people read this blog, but if this is something you think would be a good idea, then feel free say so in the comments to this post!

Would love the audiobook! I’m in Turkey! If you can’t send a physical copy, maybe you can autograph it by sending an audio greeting with the digital copy? haha! Can’t wait to continue the story!
